Client case study / Tennessee Valley Specialties

Tennessee Valley Specialties: clearer services, stronger search visibility and a growing audience

SommeTech turned a dated brochure site into a useful guide to Tennessee Valley Specialties’ glass, railing, enclosure and commercial hardware work. Dedicated service pages help homeowners and builders find the right capability, while a clearer quote path gives them a next step. The engagement now has measurable audience, search visibility and website inquiry activity to report.

Growth and business outcomes

For a business with a broad service range, the result is more than a larger audience: individual services are visible in search and easier to evaluate. The figures below separate discovery from actions taken on the website.

The work behind the results

From a better website to a stronger business presence

01Give specialist work its own front door

Dedicated pages for glass, railings, enclosures and commercial doors and hardware replaced a general brochure experience. The historical Month 2 report records 39 page-one queries, including 30 newly measurable page-one queries—evidence that more of the service range was appearing in search.

The later August 16-September 12 report expands the measurable footprint to 340 search queries and records 62.5% organic engagement—showing both service discovery and use of the site.

03Connect local discovery with a clear next step

The July-August Google Business Profile view records 58 call actions and 47 website clicks within 219 total interactions, with August partial through August 17. Service pages, FAQs and quote intake give those visitors a destination. Separately, August 16-September 12 website tracking records 18 phone-link clicks from 8 users. These are contact actions, not a deduplicated total of leads or completed calls.

The starting point

What the business needed

The previous website offered limited structure for a varied service offering. Someone looking for custom glass needs different information from a builder sourcing commercial hardware. The rebuild needed to make those capabilities visible without making every visitor work through the entire service catalogue.

Project scope

  • Custom website
  • Dedicated service-page architecture
  • Homeowner and builder pathways
  • Glass, railing and enclosure content
  • Commercial door and hardware content
  • Quote-intake flow
  • Local and technical SEO
  • Analytics and lead-event tracking

How the work fits together

01

Organize around the work customers need

The website gives service categories their own pages, including custom glass, railings and enclosures, and commercial doors and hardware. Visitors can move from the overall business to the specific capability they need, with related content and inquiry pathways close at hand.

02

Support both homeowners and builders

The content architecture accounts for different audiences and project needs. Service descriptions, project imagery and practical questions help visitors evaluate the business's capabilities. The quote-intake flow provides a defined next step after that research.

03

Consolidate content and clarify measurement

The documented implementation consolidated overlapping URLs with permanent redirects, retained distinct specialist pages, rebuilt service hubs and updated the sitemap. Tracking was deduplicated. Search reporting and onsite events remain separate: impressions describe visibility, while a form submission or phone-link click describes a website action.

Beyond the website build

The engagement continues with service-page content, local search visibility, technical SEO and lead-event measurement. Dedicated service pages and a clear quote path support the business as its audience grows.
